About Us
Empowering Educators. Supporting Students. Simplifying Compliance.
At Better Speech, we understand how challenging special education can be—whether it’s staying compliant, managing heavy caseloads, or retaining great service providers.
That’s why we created tools that make it easier for Special Ed teams to do their jobs. Our platform helps streamline day-to-day tasks so teams can spend less time on paperwork and more time supporting students
Our Story
Our Vision is to enable every voice to reach its full potential.
Founded in 2020, Better Speech was founded out of necessity to make speech therapy more convenient, effective, and affordable for families and schools everywhere. By connecting clients with licensed speech-language pathologists through simple, convenient teletherapy, we’ve helped thousands of kids and adults get personalized care, no matter where they are.
Our platform delivers therapy at home or school, providing the flexibility families and educators need. With personalized, evidence-based plans, Better Speech removes barriers like travel and waitlists to make quality speech therapy faster and easier.

Today, our 250+ expert speech-language pathologists provide speech therapy for adults and children—at home and in school settings. But as we worked with school districts nationwide, we recognized the broader challenges that special education teams face every day:
Overwhelming paperwork that limits direct student support
High caseloads, burn-out, and SLP shortages that impact student outcomes and compliance
Lack of clear visibility into teacher and provider interventions, capacity, and student progress
We knew there had to be a better way.
Introducing Streamline:
AI-Powered Special Ed Management
To support Special Ed teams, we created Streamline—an AI-powered platform that automates:
Evaluation reports & IEP documentation – Cutting report prep time by 90%
Compliance tracking & Medicaid reporting – Ensuring districts stay audit-ready
Caseload management & capacity planning – Preventing provider burnout and staffing gaps

By removing administrative burdens and enhancing oversight monitoring, Streamline helps special education teams reclaim their time, allowing them to focus on students and deliver individualized interventions more effectively.
We believe that by harnessing the power of automation and data analytics with Streamline, Special Ed teams can focus on what truly matters—empowering their students to thrive.
Together, we are committed to providing innovative solutions that ensure everyone—students, educators, and providers—can reach their full potential.
We are proud to have built one of the most accessible and effective online speech therapy platforms. We will continue transforming special education through technology.
