We started Streamline because we've been there. We know what it's like to stay late filling out forms instead of planning tomorrow's intervention. We've watched brilliant educators become crisis managers because their systems work against them, not with them.
Our Story
Founded in 2020, Better Speech was founded out of necessity to make speech therapy more convenient, effective, and affordable for families and schools everywhere. By connecting clients with licensed speech-language pathologists through simple, convenient teletherapy, we’ve helped thousands of kids and adults get personalized care, no matter where they are.
As we worked with school districts nationwide, we recognized the broader challenges that special education teams face every day.

Jason Varcoe
Product Manager
Jason is an innovative technical architect who excels at building empowered, solution-oriented development, UX, and product teams focused on addressing critical educational needs. His strong record of building inclusive, engaging, and impactful software solutions in K-12, ranging from gamified learning and targeted interventions to essential IEP management and complex regulatory compliance and reporting systems, has significantly enhanced the learning experiences for diverse student populations.
Jason currently directs the Streamline development team, driving ongoing innovation and leveraging new and established technical solutions to transform the educational landscape and ensure all children receive equitable education. Jason holds a Master of Information Technology Management and degrees in Human Resource Management and Marketing, along with certifications in SAFe, CSPO, and CSM.
Carina Aldridge
Head of Marketing
Carina brings deep expertise in scaling sales and marketing for high-growth education technology companies, with a track record of helping organizations sharpen their go-to-market strategy and win adoption in K-12 districts nationwide. She is known for blending data-driven rigor with creative positioning to drive growth. At Streamline, Carina focuses on equipping the team with the infrastructure, messaging, and market insight needed to accelerate impact for schools and students.
